PLAIN CAKE // makes 2 8" round cakes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 c. margarine (shortening)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
COCONUT FROSTING
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c. icing sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, room temperature
- juice from half a lemon
- dash of milk
- shredded coconut
Frost cake, and then 'slap' on shredded coconut.
